Where this came from
I’m Lynn Kirk, a life coach with a background in professional organising, and years of experience working one-to-one with people as they navigate busy, complex lives.
Very quickly, one thing became clear: it was never really about the stuff.
Within minutes of being in someone’s home, it was possible to sense what was really going on — the pressures they were carrying, the habits they felt stuck in, and the relationships and expectations shaping their days. Long before anything was moved or organised, people wanted space to talk, reflect and be understood.
Over time, I noticed the same patterns again and again. Happiness, simplicity and a sense of calm were shaped by the same five areas of life — Peace, Purpose, People, Place and Practice — regardless of who I was working with or what their home looked like.
That insight led to the Simply Happier Life Profile.
It’s a practical way to understand what’s supporting you right now, what may be quietly weighing you down, and where focusing your attention could make the biggest difference to your happiness.
Because when you understand yourself — not just your surroundings — life becomes clearer, lighter and easier to navigate.
